The Inferno 72 from SharpEye Surfboards delivers the world’s fastest surfboard with Proven Performance.
This model was developed to offer proven performance in small to medium-sized conditions. A global staple favoured by professional and everyday surfers alike, the Stab in the Dark winning Inferno 72 model is the must-have, tuned-up, everyday shortboard. The Inferno 72 is one of the world's most popular shortboard models for a reason.
Featuring a medium single concave that flows into a deep double between the fins. These concaves combine with a medium entry rocker that flows seamlessly into a medium exit rocker, providing an instant burst of speed from take-off and an exceptional balance of manoeuvrability and drive. These features integrate with a reliable, controlled medium rail to deliver the perfect combination for everyday conditions. The Stab in the Dark winning Inferno 72’s proven performance will handle just about any conditions thrown at it.
It’s recommended to order the Inferno 72 in the same size as your go-to shortboard. Drop one inch for a step-down.
The benchmark after making Formula 1 style surfboards for 25 years is all about getting the balance of weight and durability into a board that will perform better than ever. We’re using all of that documented data on what is the optimal weight for each number of litres, for each surfer, and the type of surfing that they do. All of that has gone into making sure these CarboTune boards come out at those ideal specs. It’s a finely tuned balance for weight and durability to equal the performance we want. What the construction comes back to is a relatively simple formula: Weight & Durability = Performance. That’s why it’s taken 6 years – these elements have finally come together with the ideal balance for any surfboard made in CarboTune to both perform and last.
ero Gravity is the next in line of our favourite fusions ever. Ridden the same dimensions as your Monsta Box, with the same magic rocker, this will be your all-rounder even more geared to high performance surfing than the updated Xero, which in comparison has the slightly flatter Blak Box rocker and a fuller outline. Xero Gravity also features a similar foil to the previous Xero, with foam hidden in the deck, but a slightly pulled down rail that’s fine tuned for manoeuvrability & quick response.
We’ve streamlined the range while keeping all the nuance and specialised qualities you want to have a board model for every type of wave. Want a super groveller? That’s the Sub Xero. A more performance-oriented option to handle flatter conditions? That’s the new Xero, now even closer to your original Blak Box. And for a performance all-rounder – that’s right here, the Xero Gravity.
A Jack Robinson Pro Model. The Synergy features a mid-entry continuous rocker with a full exit rocker, combined with a medium rail that allows for tight, aggressive manoeuvres and explosive and unmatched performance. The bottom contour features a speed-generating deep single concave. Designed with a slightly fuller nose and tail pod, the Synergy is a higher-volume board with a flatter deck. The Synergy offers Explosive Performance in various conditions and sizes but is recommended for intermediate to expert surfers only.
Ride the Synergy in your performance shortboard dimensions. It will sit nicely in your quiver between an Inferno 72 and #77 and excel in waves from 2-6ft.
Looking for proven Explosive Performance. Choose the Synergy.
The #77 model. Filipe toledo’s board of choice during his incredible road to victory in the 2017 J Bay Open. The #77 has more entry & exit rocker then his previous Holy Toledo model, coupled with a harder edge above the fins and more subtle concave through the tail. Quoted the "fastest board ive ever ridden” by Filipe. This board surfs best in good punchy waves and is recommended for intermediate to experienced surfers only. Order the model the same length as your height.
The #77+ from SharpEye Surfboards delivers the world’s fastest surfboard with Superior Performance in Serious Conditions.
Based on the 2022 World Champion Filipe Toledo's #77 model, the #77+ features a full entry and exit rocker, sensitive low rails for maximum control and bite, and a speed-generating deep single concave that runs from the nose through the tail. The deepest point of the concave is positioned between the fins providing an abundance of drive and grip through high-speed manoeuvres in plus-sized conditions. With added forward volume, the #77+ is the ideal model for additional paddle power in conditions of consequence. The #77+ offers Superior Performance in Serious Conditions and is recommended only for intermediate to expert surfers.
Looking for Superior Performance in Serious Conditions, choose the #77+. We recommend riding the #77+ in the same width as your go-to shortboard with increased thickness.

JS and their love of twin fins, they’ve kept an array of the design features that made our OG Baron one of the most widely loved boards of all time, maintaining equal parts old school speed and new school flair. The Baron Flyer has foam in all the right places to float over soft sections and fly down the line, yet still allow you to lay it on rail or bust the fins even when you’re going Mach 10.
Slightly more curve than the original Black Baron ensures you’ve got enough rocker to fit right in the pocket, yet still generate and maintain plenty of speed. This is complemented by a moderate single concave running into double concave, providing extra lift and liveliness, and complemented by a balanced, manoeuvrable plan shape. The other main change is an even flatter deck, with low rails. And of course, the round tail with a flyer allows us to maintain more width through the middle but with a relatively pulled in tail. So, ride your Baron Flyer ¼” wider than your OG Black Baron dims.
Fin positioning is also moved further forward to maintain balance between release and control, due to the tail pod being much narrower than the OG Black Baron. This prompts quick, reliable engagement and easy rail to rail transitions, even in weak conditions. Whatever surf you choose to ride it in, the Baron Flyer gives you the freedom to take new lines and go faster than ever in small waves.
Xero Gravity is the next in line of our favourite fusions ever.

It’s our direct update on the board that won QS and CT events in the type of conditions we all surf every day. And it was voted the Australian board of the year back-to-back, due to overdelivering in countless sessions for regular surfers in average to pumping waves. If the Monsta Box made you enjoy surfing more, Xero Gravity will send you to the moon.
Cheat Code Model
The Cheat Code from SharpEye Surfboards delivers the world’s fastest surfboard developed to offer High Volume Performance in small-sized conditions.
A tuned-up, up-volumed performance shortboard. The Cheat Code features a forgiving boxy rail that minimises rail catches in full / flat sections and sub-par conditions. The bottom contour features a medium single concave that ends between the fins ending with a flat exit. These concaves combine with a flat entry rocker that flows seamlessly into a flat exit rocker, providing an instant burst of speed from take-off with exceptional control, drive and carry in small-sized conditions.
We recommend riding this board 2-4 inches shorter than your regular shortboard and adding a touch of width and thickness.
